Was driving to Carl's Jr for a birthday lunch, seen this place and was like, "sure, why not?" I am glad I did. Chicken teriyaki and a fruit smoothie. Chicken was good, rice was perfect, smoothie was legit, but let me tell you about that sauce. It was peppered, and just right. I tried to buy some but they were not having it, lol, but it was a great stop for my day. Worth checking out They also have that little room out the side, for gambling, if that's your thing, and sell random things, like projectors and dental picks.

This little hidden gem has the best food! Honestly for the area I didn't expect how amazing great the food is! If you want late night teriyaki this is ur place. I recommend highly!

Great chicken-rice bowl, made right in front of you in the open kitchen. Delicious fresh mango smoothie too! Kind of a deli atmosphere with plenty of tables, and surprisingly they not only have beer but several liquors too.

The food was excellent, a delicious tender beef teriyaki with a good amount of rice and a portion of vegetables, good prizes for drinks too and the cook is really quick. Its a place where people go to gamble also, so it is not kept pretty or cozy, but if you dont care about that, you can have a good dinner at a calm place practically located on a corner next to SE Powell.

I was making deliveries in the area, my sugar level was 82 and I decided to stop for a teriyaki, I was impressed, the price was only $11 and the food tasted really good, plus I ordered a coffee which they don't really sell here and the girl told me she'll make you one don't worry, I think the food is good although the people who come to this place come to play lottery machines. I recommend this place

I don't really like visiting here because of neighbor hood . Located near Homeless Camps and allot of Apartments . So people have easy access . I have seen fights there , car wrecks , drug deals , dogs get hit by cars . Tents across the street . Bad location for friendly nice people . I think the food is not really cooked properly and the drinks taste not so good . The workers or owners are not so helpful.

Food isn't that great. Video poker area is alright. Won a jackpot before. Waited a while for Bill jam but she was busy. So I understand.

We have loved Charlie’s for years. It’s not fancy by any means but good prices an the guy himself makes the chicken super tasty. And has had my vegetables on point. The only down side to this place is it needs a deep clean. But for being in S.E. it’s a great fast place to eat
